She looked like such a nice woman. My thoughts and prayers are with her and the family.

There is no word in any dictionary that describe the death of a child, there is widow for loss of husband widower for husband. I to have lost my daughter to a rare illness, some days like yesterday, but o how we LOVE our babies!

I just saw Dan Rather's interview with Ronnie, Rickey and Gary, and heard Ronnie say that his oldest daughter had recently passed away. He said he had gotten a tattoo of Jesus Christ after her passing (showing a large, beautiful tattoo of our Heavenly Father on his left forearm) because he wanted to see her again. The band members all wear cross necklaces, and these are just a few reasons that I love Lynyrd Skynyrd, their songs, and every single thing that they believe in, and have since I first heard their music in the early 70's, when I was just a young teen. I had to pause the DVR and find the info on Lindsay because I am sincerely sorry to find out this news. Ronnie and his family of both blood and band brothers and sisters, are all in my prayers, and I know he WILL see her beautiful face again one fine day when He calls his children home. I so look forward to the day when this mean, old world is left behind for the bliss and pure joy of Heaven. Can I get an AMEN?

I went to school with Lindsay all the way from Seabreeze Elementary through Fletcher High. I never knew her that well but it still brought a tear to my eye to hear she passed. She was a sweet girl. My condolences to the family.

I've sent one message before Lindsayy's service,I just wanted to send some encouragement again because I believe these are truly the hardest days,the days after,after the people are gone,maybe the phone calls diminish,and you're left to think.Please know that God catches each tear.He knows your grief.There is no timetable and it comes in waves,some good days,some bad,some really bad. But slowly,ever so slowly there will come a time when you'll be able to think of her without tears.The ache will always be there,because she cannot be replaced,God made each of us to be unique and one of a kind and from the comments and pictures, she was most assuredly that.God bless you all,you've been a part of our lives for so long you ARE family.

I was fortunate enough to have met Lindsay along with johnny's other children as a follower of skynyrd since the early 70's and worked many concerts as band security over the years I was lucky to meet the members of the skynyrd band and family members past and present and I can say each one was a class act our prayers go out to the family and may the hand of the lord be over them . god bless you

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Lindsay, and the loss of a sister/daughter/wife. I have many happy memories of her when we were young: climbing the tree in the front lawn, playing with the animals, sleep overs, and the many pig statues and dolls that were in her room. She was sweet and caring, always had a smile on her face and made sure to looked after us younger girls. My sister Lindsay and I swapped happy stories today about her and when we were young. I am so sorry you lost your sister Kristen, I know she is in Heaven.
