My deepest sympathy to Lindy's family. My first contact with Lindy was at the History Department at the UofR in the 1970s. He was always friendly and enthusiastic.

I just heard of Lindy's death and wish to pass on my sympathies to his family. I always felt Lindy was a a person of integrity and passion for his family and community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was sorry to hear of Lindy's passing and extend my sympathies to his children and family. During his years as an MLA I interacted with Lindy a lot as the Minister I worked with at the time was usually his travelling partner for out of town caucus meeting. He was an easy-going, kind man.

Very sorry to hear of Lindy's passing. Enjoyed travel and participation with him during our time spent with Polonia and Poltava. Always with a big smile and hearty laugh we will truly miss him.
