Lindy KING Obituary
March 8, 1952 - February 9, 2015
Shortly after being diagnosed with cancer, Lindy passed away on February 9, 2015 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. She is survived by her children Lisa (Terry), Meegan (Shawn), and Wade (Jason) and her grandchildren Zane, Zach, Kendra, Calista, Carter and Kale. She was predeceased by an infant son, Jaret. Lindy spent most of her adult life in Portage la Prairie, MB. Where she was very involved in arts and culture, in a particular through her involvement with Prairie Players theatre-company and the Arts Council. For the past decade Lindy resided in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she enjoyed her friendships, work and her continued involvement in the arts, especially her many volunteer hours at the Mendel Art Gallery. She also enjoyed spending summers at her cottage at Pelican Lake, Manitoba. A Memorial Service will be held at the Mendel Art Gallery, 950 Spadina Crescent East on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. For information about arrangements or to send a message of condolence, please contact [email protected]. I'm so sorry to hear of Lindy's passing. My deepest condolences to Lindy's family.
I enjoyed working with Lindy both at the U of S and the Mendel.
I will miss her.

I'm saddened to learn of Lindys passing. I had the privilege of working with her when she lived in Portage. Her zest for life and contagious laugh will stay with me forever. My deepest condolence to her children.
