Linet Susanne Mandilk

God brought Linet to us through Barbara Margaret Fawcett(Schmidt) and John Lewis Fawcett October 24 1966. Youngest sister to Rob, Cherel(Cairns) and Jeff Fawcett.
As God always works all things out for the good of those who love him Linet got extra parents through divorce and remarriage. John to Norma Branham, compassionate supporter and Barbara to Glen Boyer a life long friend and encourager for the entire family.
At the age of 5 Linet was diagnosed with diabetes. In spite of this she never let the disease define her but faced every challenge by seeking knowledge, adapting and moving on. Her mom championed for her through it all.
Linet grew up in Wixom where she established multiple lifelong friendships. One of those friends Michael Mandilk(son of William (Bill) and Mary (Turpin) ) became her high school sweetheart and husband of 36 years.(41 Years total) Mikes parents each had a close relationship with Linet. Mary felt like she got her daughter, and Bill got his Netty. Linet got a bonus brother Jeff Mandilk and sister with Jeff's marriage to Misty Megown.
Linet and Mike made many houses into welcoming homes (12 moves in total) loved on family, friends, neighbors and pets. Family celebrations were central to Linet and hosting was her hearts expression.
October 11th 1996 brought her proudest moment, the birth of her only son Jacob Tyler Mandilk. Kind hearted and strong willed, Jacob is truly his mothers son. Jacob has excelled at his passion and love of horsemanship. He follows her heart for making people feel loved and welcome. For the last few years Linet cherished evenings with Jacob and partner Stephan Armos. Together, Jacob and Stephan often cooked special family dinners.
Linet felt blessed with seven fantastic nieces and nephews, Ashleigh(Rob and Dianne), Brandon and Shannon(Cherel and Jim Kemp), James, Alyssa, Joshua and Julia Mandilk (Jeff and Misty Mandilk). Linet also treasured her great nieces Aliyah and Mariyah Barkley and Ella Duncan (Shannon and Matt Duncan)
Linet spent her life caring for everyone she came in touch with including her stepfather Glen until his passing with Liver Cancer December 10 2017. She cared for her mother, Barbara, through the challenges of Parkinson's until her passing September 7 2019, truly a servants heart.
As a Nanny and Caretaker for many families Linet loved on them all. She was compassionate and cared deeply for her Church family. Linet coordinated the early childhood programs for many years, ran the nursery, welcomed new families, supported and celebrated all the fantastic volunteers and found reward in serving those in need.

Linet was the example of love your neighbor as yourself.
The Lord gathered her up in his loving arms April 11 2022 at her home in Howell, Mi with Mike by her side.
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
