It's been 15 years since you left us, Mom. This year was unlike any other. I'm unsure of Spencer's whereabouts or if he's doing okay. Your grandson has learned to stand up for himself, and your granddaughter reminds me so much of you with her fiery personality. Although it wasn't a lonely year, I miss you more than ever. Please, send me a sign.

To the Hughes Clan: Lisa was a bright light in the lives of all she touched. Heaven has a new star. At cadets, as officers, you remember the ones who were exceptional as well as the ones who were pains . Lisa fits right there at the top. Jerry, Bobby, Spencer and Vanessa and families,
Some people leave a footprint in our memories and lives, Lisa left some dance steps in mine. Her spirit is now free from the confines of her body and she is dancing again---maybe looking for Michael Jackson up there.
