I had the pleasure of working with Lisa at the VA Medical Center, Pineville, La. Lisa was a joy to work with and was always pleasant and kind. God bless you and your family.

I know I never had the opportunity to know Lisa but I know she worked at the DOTD while Ray was still working and he only had good things to say about. her. From all I've heard about her she was a super sweet girl. You have my deepest sympathy. I know she will be missed very much.

The Halbrook family wishes to extend our thoughts and prayers to Peyton and her family. I knew Lisa while she lived in Pineville, and she was such an upbeat, positive person. I know she will be missed by many.

I worked along side Lisa at the New Orleans VA site and we got fairly close as m wife had gone through the same health issues. She was always so spry and cheery regardless and loved life. She always talked about her daughter and adoption....which also hit home since I am adopted. She will be missed but she is now on the Heavenly Advisory Board for the Adoption of Children

Barbara & Ottis I never had the privilege of meeting Lisa but she must have been a very caring person & I know this must be very hard on both of you. Lester & I have been & will be praying for peace & comfort for you.

Lisa, Love knows no boundaries. The ultimate act of love is being a parent . I pray your Peyton is supported by unconditional love you have for her, and that love sustains her throughout her loss and in the future. We will miss you in our adoption community. I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to Lisa's daughter Peyton and her family and friends. Lisa was a member of some of the same single-mom adoption online forums as I am. I did not know Lisa personally, but she touched so many peoples' lives through her willingness to share her experiences and encouragement with others.

This breaks my heart. I met Lisa online through some of the China adoption resources and got to visit with her in person when she came to Maryland for contract officer training. I know that Peyton was her world, and that makes this loss so much harder. RIP, dear friend. You will be missed by many.
