Remembering Lisa is easy on one important regard. She made a magnificent impact on my life and so many lives around her. Her abilities defy description. But she was as athletic as any girl/woman I grew up with and had she chosen track or swimming, anything... she would have excelled. She was as academically gifted as they come, balanced, attentive, quickly gathering every subject, processing, and so humble for the level of learnedness she could quickly achieve. She was beyond peer in term of speech and drama competitions, winning the WV statewide actress of the year in 1974 for her role in "A Beetle's Pace." Her beauty was stunning, and frequently recognized in an instant. But her inner work was the stuff of even more beautiful challenges. She loved dearly those that met her high standards, and all of us that felt any measure of that love were the better for it. I count knowing Lisa as one of the great blessings of my life. My heart again goes out to Dreama and those who knew her so well in her adult life.

The PHS Class of '74... the "Sounds of Conviction" church group... "The Pale Pink Dragon" play... homeroom... all those classes and clubs over 12 years...French festivals... Speech and Drama tournaments... that last tennis game before she moved to Texas ... so many, many memories....and so much sadness now. I join Rick Eades from our Class in sending condolences to Dreama and Mrs. Vance. In time, we will all see her again in a happier, better place, though that does little to assuage the hurt in our hearts today. God Bless.

To the family of Lisa Fuller, she was my voice coach and friend at SSCC. I pray strength to family, and may Lisa's voice continue to sing through all of our hearts.
Lisa te quiero mucho y voy a olvidar nunca lo que me dijo en su oficina. Que descanse en paz.....

I will never forget the opportunity I had to play Bach on violin along with Lisa's beautiful voice while we were both in graduate school, nor her many Calvary Messiah appearances. I am deeply sorry there could not be more of these chances.

To the family of Lisa Vance:
I remember vividly the beautiful child that Lisa was. My grandmother, Adeline Compton, was her babysitter and absolutely adored the Vance family.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers and I think of you often as I have lived on Hillcrest Drive up the street from your former home.
God be with you.

Lisa was the most exceptional and beautiful girl, then woman, of my childhood and early adult life. As next door neighbors, academic competitors K-12, in drama and speech, and in ways that words fall short to describe, we shared life in the formative years. I always held a special place in my heart for Lisa, and we were fortunate to stay in touch during our adult lives. I know she cherished her community in Memphis, in music and through her faith. To those friends and all her family, I send my love and condolences.

My sympathy goes out to Lisa's family; they will be in my thoughts and prayers. Lisa and I sang at Calvary together for many years. It's difficult to imagine the choir without Lisa's beautiful face, voice and gentle spirit.

Dear Family of Lisa Vance,
I went to Baylor with Lisa and recall so vividly Lisa's stunningly beautiful voice. People commented all the time that she sang like an angel. I had not seen her since school...but I will always remember her gorgeous face with love, and a smile on my own. My prayers are with you...we will see Lisa again!

Lisa was one of my dearest friends and I am deeply saddened by her passing. I know her beautiful spirit lives on and she is watching over all of our pets that have passed before us. We celebrate the beauty she graced us with during her time here on earth. Lisa will be deeply missed.
