Lisa is still missed as much today as on the day of her passing. Having raised her two nieces without Lisa as a role model has been a tragedy, to be say they missed out on a amazing opportunity is an understatement. To have such intelligent, intellectual, confident, fierce female to guide them on lifes journey would have afforded them an opportunity no school on the planet could have ever provided them. I miss my sister every day and words could never accurately describe how much she is loved and her memory cherished.

My dearest friend, It's been 10 years ago today since your loved ones layed you to rest. I miss your beautiful soul every day.

Like my cousin Cairan below, I to was trawling through the internet looking for family members and I came across this link. I remember meeting Lisa in the 80's when she came to the UK with my Auntie Anne, we had a great laugh and reading all of the messages just proves she is sorely missed. Rest in peace love from your cousin Terry & the rest of the Devlin clan in the UK x

So. Looking for the whereabouts of my cousins on the Internet I came across this website. Lisa spent a summer holiday with my family in the early 1980's. What a cool and great cousin she was. How very sad it is to hear about her passing. God bless you Lisa x

Much like Brenda who left a message last year, I went on Facebook looking up people, names that popped into my head from 'old times'... shocked and truly saddened to find out this news... I worked with both Graham & Lisa off and on for just over 2yrs at COP in Calgary. After an 8yr hiatus, I am now heading back into EMS myself to
'finish what I started' in becoming a Paramedic a number of yrs ago - that's when all these names were coming back to me. Graham, if you still read these, my thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. Hopefully this time has helped to heal the wounds.

I just went on Facebook to look for Lisa, so we could get together as I hadn't seen her in many years and wanted to catch up. My sadness overwhelms in finding out she left us almost two years ago. We met at camp when we were 15 and stayed in very close contact for many, many years when I lived in Ontario. When I moved to Calgary in 2003 Lisa was the first person I met up with. As always, she was happy, energetic, and full of compassion and life. She truly put others before her and loved her work. I will miss her, as I've thought about her for many years and in the few years we knew each other, she touched me profoundly. Rest in peace, my friend.

Graham and Tyrone,
I was so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing - growing up, I remember what I sweet girl she was, and have fond memories of of the Glynn family in school, church, and community. I know it has been over a year, but I only just got word and wanted to send my sincere condolences. This must have been a very difficult year for both of you and your extended families. My prayers are with you.

I was sorry to hear the news. The world has lost a very special person in Lisa. I have not known many others to be so selfless in such a selfish world. I will always remember the Jetta that she handpainted herself covering it with yellow happy faces. It was always a joy to be around Lisa. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the privilege to be accepted into the AHASTI EMT-A program by Lisa, and to work with her as a student last year. I will miss her so very much. Lisa was completely dedicated to having her students well trained, especially with her gruelling patient care report assignments. Her legacy has been passed into the Canadian Forces Medical Services as I strive to provide military EMS to the highest level that she would be proud of.

If one is to attempt to summarize Lisa's life in two words, I feel they are Love and Purpose. For she invested equal shares of effort and energy into each. Her daily struggles, as well as her accomplishments were so extreme as to strain the limits of believability. But as those of us who knew her well can attest, that was simply the amazing reality of Lisa's life. The example she set in the way she conducted herself is a timeless gift to us all....and a tribute to Lisa's undying memory. My condollences to all of her family and friends in this difficult time. Lisa lives on in us now.

My name is Claire Scott and I'm Graham's mom. When our kids are born, we have dreams for each one. Most of all, we hope someone will come along who will love them as much as we do. Graham hit the jackpot. And for all that Lisa brought to our lives - her energy, her light, and for showing us how to step up to the plate - there is a place in our hearts that will always be hers.

My condolences go out to everyone who has ever met Lisa, as she has touched everyone several times in one way or another. I have known Lisa for approximately 4 years & lived with her for approx. 3 years now. I have shared many great times & several bad times with Lisa. She was always there to guide and comfort me. She is one of the kindest, most loving people I have or will ever know. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Here's to you Lisa...Thank you for the privilege.

Our office had the pleasure of receiving instruction from Lisa this past January. In that 4 hours we experienced a taste of her enthusiasm, zest for life, and vast knowledge. She was able to 'handle' our rowdy group which believe me is a rare trait. All the staff at AEDARSA send their best wishes and condolences to Graham and the rest of the family.

In the early 90's Lisa volunteered for me at Calgary Young Offenders Centre, where I was Chaplain. Her spirit, energy and joy of life will not be forgotten. She gave much to the kids at CYOC in the time she played guitar and sang for them. Her spirit was infectious.

My thoughts and prayers are with her husband and family.

I've known Lisa and her family since I was a kid, when she used to babysit my brother and I. She was always our favourite person to see because she liked us so much and made evenings with out our parents so much fun.

We lost touch as we grew up, but I've always considered her a role model, a strong, independent, friendly, hard working cheerful woman. She will be missed. My condolences to Mr. & Mrs. Glynn, Tye, Mike, Chris and Graham.

I had the greatest respect for Lisa. She worked hard for a purpose she believed in- training excellent EMRs and EMTs. She often put her job before her own needs because she was so passionate about providing good education and training to the young people who came to the college. Losing a passionate and dynamic person like Lisa is always devastating, but we should look at the good things she did and all that she leaves behind.

To: Graham and family members and friends.

Our thoughts are with you at this time of pain and sorrow. Lisa was great people person, a good patient advocate, and especially good with kids. I remember the extra effort she made towards my children and that is a trait of a great person.

There are people in this world that are meant to help others and that was Lisa. I enjoyed being Lisa’s instructor and helping her become a Paramedic. The generations to come will not get a chance to see the caring that Lisa was known for to the people she touched. I hope we all learned from Lisa to be a good friend when it is needed.

Lisa was human and made her mistakes that were in many ways just like you and me. I would not want to have tried to walk a mile in her shoes. Being sick with Lupus and working as well as going to school took a lot of effort that others might have taken for granted. The pain and suffering were rarely seen and the complaints from Lisa were very few.

May god keep her at his side for the rest of time! Lisa you will be sadly missed by me as well as the other instructors at Augustana. Dale
