Hey Sweetie, I just wanted to say I am not sure how to get through this first Thanksgiving without you. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. You are deeply missed. Jason and Ellie are here and Robert wants to do the turkey. . . . . I know surprised? Me too.
Well, I just want to honor your memory and let you know this holiday will never be the same.
I love and miss you

Lisa was the sweetist little girl that grew up to be a beautiful wonderful wife and mother. I am so sad that she had such a short life, she deserved so much more. She was so happy with Robert and her kids. She had a great sense of humor.Lisa, I miss you and love you. Love Aunt Barb and Uncle Tom

Lisa came into my life when she was 12 years old. From the first time I met her, I was impressed by her big brown beautiful eyes and her gorgeous smile. As the years went by I saw her mature into a lovely woman, wife and mother. Her attributes are to numerous to mention. The most one's that come to me was her loving demeanor and her genuine thoughtfulness. I knew from the first time to the last that she would touch the hearts of all that came in contact with her. Her genuine laugh could light up any room she walked into. The girl the women the wife and the mother came to make a perfect circle. She was taken from us much to early and she had so much more to accomplish. I do hope like all of us she is in a better place looking down upon us with those big brown eyes and that gorgeous smile. Love Dad Don. P.S there are so many things that I could share whom ever reads this site, but I want to keep somethings between me and that little girl that made my life so rewarding and fulfilling.

To the Hanhart Family, Lisa will always be in our hearts forever. Our memories of her will last a lifetime. She was a great person with a big heart. She was always there for everyone. We will all truely miss her very much. The Lord has taken over so she know longer has to suffer anymore. We should all feel at peace that she is in a much greater place right now. Lisa was a very special cousin to me and I will always cherish and remember all the good times that I got to spend with her. I love you Lisa and you will be in my mind and heart forever. Your cousin Dave.

I was so glad that I got to see Lisa with her family, by complete coincidence, that day in Wisconsin. I remembered the hug and kiss she gave me before she left. It was as though her spirit was saying good-bye to me that day. I get goosebumps when I reflect on it. TR will take good care of her. My deepest sympathy to all of her family and friends.
Perhaps they are not the stars,
but rather openings in Heaven
where the love of our lost ones
pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy. May God Bless You and give you the strength to cope with your sadness!

My name is Glenn "Ross" Giordano and I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa and her awesome family a handful of times over the last 10 years. Although I did not know her well, I can truly say she was a super nice, warm and genuine young lady. As others have stated on this site, she was "easy to talk to" and would entertain you with her company for hours. Some of the feelings I remember having after first meeting her in Chicago was, she was a tough cookie, could stand on her own two feet and was a giver in this life. Lisa made it perfectly clear to this new aquaintance she loved her husband, kids, sisters Michelle and Tammy, mom Carol, step dad Don along with her entire extended family.
I'll never forget and will always appreciate Lisa giving me her blessing in dating someone who meant the world her, her precious sister "Missy". In closing, I would like to say; To Robert, my deepest sympathies go out to you and your kids. To Carol, Don and Tammy, I hope the pain you are feeling is soon replaced by peace knowing that your Lisa is no longer having to fight or feel pain. To "Missy" (My Michelle). I am so sorry for your loss. You are always in my heart and soul no matter where I go. You have left a permanent impact on my life and I will always love you. And finally To Lisa, Thank You for opening up your home, family and energy to me. I'll always remember meeting and knowing you. Rest in Peace and God Bless.

Dear family and friends of Lisa. My name is Glenn "Ross" Giordano and I've had the true pleasure of meeting Lisa, Robert and their beautiful kids a handful of times over the last 10 years. The time that will always stand out for me is when Lisa, her sisters Michelle and Tammy took me for a "night out" near where they live in Chicago. Lisa had such an amazing personality and could definitely stand on her own two feet. As I've read in other postings on this site, you really could meet Lisa, become an instant fan of her's and talk for hours. I feel so bad all of you and your loss. Lisa had just recently teased me on the phone and left me an open invite to come and see her and her family again someday. That is an invitation I will some day accept Lisa and I will always be good to your "Missy" who I know you loved very much. May God Bless this entire family. Ross

Please accept the love and comfort of everyone around you to help you through this, those memories and kind thoughts will help so much in these rough hours and days that follow. Robert, Stephanie, Robbie and Hailey, and family,
My heart goes out to you. I'd like to extend my love and sincere condolences to you all. I know she was an awesome wife and mother, as I know she was an awesome friend. Michelle called me about two months ago and told me of Lisa’s illness. She asked if I could organize an event to raise some funds to assist in Lisa’s care. I immediately got at it and was in the process of organizing an event to be held at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. I hoped that I could have helped extend her life in some way through the funding of treatments. Perhaps in some time with your permission I’d like to continue the organization of that event in which we can honor Lisa’s memory to benefit cancer research and treatment.
Cherish the memories and the love shared. May God grant you all comfort in this time of great sorrow. Will miss you Lisa, rest in peace.
