Lisa Hanson Obituary
Lisa (Borg) Hanson, 61, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born Lisa Ellen Borg, July 23, 1963 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Roy and Reta Martin Borg. She married Scott Hanson on June 6, 1990.
Lisa attended Southern View Elementary School, graduated from Southeast High School, and earned her bachelor's degree from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She went on to work for 26 years at Teachers Retirement System (TRS). Lisa loved animals, flowers, reading, music, gardening and going to concerts.
She is survived by her husband Scott Hanson of Springfield, son Dane Hanson of Chicago, her mother Reta Borg of Chatham, and her brother Alex Borg of Springfield.
Proceeding her in death was her father, Roy Borg of Chatham.
