Lisa Hunte of Calgary, passed away suddenly
in Vancouver, BC on July 9, 2011 at the age of
35 years. Lisa is survived by her mother
Agnes Hunte; siblings Arlene Hunte and Brad
(Avian) Hunte; niece Isabella; nephew Ethan;
grandmother Rosie Taylor; uncles Sterling
(Jean) Hunte, Roger (Nadine) Hunte, Rawle
(Rosemary) Alexander, Peter (Mary) Ramdin,
Robert (Debra) Taylor, George Osborne and
Jeffrey (Patsy) Taylor; aunt Myrna Taylor;
cousins Stuart, Wendell, Jamelle, Sherisse
(Mike), Melissa, Jessica (Robert), Vanessa,
Cheryl-Ann, Ashley, Caitlyn, Maxizine, Nigel,
Damian, Marisa, Shenelle, Marlon, Roger
(Nadine), Earl, Jason, Janelle, Pamela and
Ayanna and numerous other extended family.
Lisa was predeceased by father Irwin Hunte in
2004; and her aunt Elizabeth Osborne in
2010. Those wishing to pay their respects
may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park
Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.,
Calgary, AB) today, July 19, 2011 from
7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will
be held at McInnis & Holloway's Park
Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on
Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.
Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook
Memorial Gardens. Forward condolences

I met Lisa only a few times when I lived in Calgary...but her personality was just effervescent. I was always so taken with her sparkling with...gorgeous smile and genuinely happy spirit. I wish your family finds peace at this time, especially in knowing that Lisa moved all who met her.

Arlene and family,
I haven't seen Lisa for many years since we graduated from U of C, but she is still very vivid in my mind. Her kind deeds and her impact on our experience of university life will never be forgotten. I cannot express in words how much this news hurts and I can only imagine the family's pain. I will continue to offer many prayers for you all at this challenging time. May God bless her soul.

Whenever I saw Lisa and her sister Arlene (they were always together). They always stopped to say `Hello`. She always inquired about my son Marcus. She always had that wonderful smile. I was very shock to hear of her passing, so suddenly. My prayers are with the Hunte family. Lisa you will be missed.

We only met Lisa once - at Su and Ronan o'Sullivan's wedding - and had heard about her for years through Su. The evening that we spent with both you girls was much fun and definitely was just a glimpse at to how much fun and full of life Lisa was. I was speechless when I heard the shocking and tragic news of Lisa's passing. I have so many fond memories of her in all of the countless hours that I spent with all of you in the past. She was such a wonderful person and you could always feel her spirit shining through. I will always remember that she had the best "Old Navy" dance I had ever seen! I pray that you all can find some path of strength to guide you through this unthinkable loss and try to be comforted by knowing that she and her dad are now together. Lisa and I worked together and kept in touch over the years. The last message I got from her on FB was 'Lets get together when you come to Vancouver next'.
Lisa was a beautiful, loving and caring girl and spoke highly of her family.

The news of Lisa's passing is so very upsetting. Lisa and I also met at work in 2004 and shared an office. We got to know each other very well and have been friends ever since. I can't think of anyone who was more loved and adored by her friends and coworkers. She had an amazingly calm demeanor that we all adored. It breaks my heart that the world took such a beautiful person from us. My deepest condolences to the family. Sometimes we would just sit and chat and she always spoke so highly of her friends, sister, Jess and her family.

Lisa was one of the first and best PAs we had on FB3 and FB Program and was my right hand/arm (she knew how to keep me out of trouble!). I am going to miss not just her beautiful smile, and how she could make everything work out, keeping me tame in the process. I loved Lisa as a friend and have always felt close to her, even though we have only face-booked once in a while lately.
