Lisa Marx Obituary
Lisa passed away peacefully, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the age of 53, of Somerdale, NJ, formerly of Franklin Twp., NJ.
Beloved daughter of Theresa Delaquila (nee Phillips). Loving wife of David Marx. Adoring mother of Lindsay P. Marx (Sean) of Somerdale, NJ. Dear sister of Steven Delaquila of Franklinville, NJ and Alfred Delaquila (Heidi) of Washington Twp., NJ. Also survived by her mother-in-law Virginia Marx and many nieces & nephews.
Lisa was an EMT for many years with Franklin Twp. & Evesham Twp. She was an auto claims adjuster with Allstate and previously with Liberty Mutual for 19 years. Lisa was an excellent cook and loved baking cookies, she was always making meals for those who were in need. She enjoyed doing arts & crafts with her nieces & nephews. Lisa put her heart and soul into everything she did. A hard-worker would describe her best. Her favorite place to be was in Disney. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation, Wednesday evening March 23rd from 6 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ, and Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM at HADDONFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ 08033, where her funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
Interment Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Lisa’s memory may be made to MD Anderson Cooper at https://foundation.cooperhealth.org.
