Lisa Penrod Lisa Penrod of Kennett, MO formally of Aurora, IL, lost her battle with cancer Sunday, July 19, 2009. She passed among family and friends at Twin Rivers Regional Hospital. Lisa was born February 8, 1955 in Anna, IL to Carl and Emillia Penrod. Lisa was raised and attended School in Aurora, IL. She is survived by her husband, Jiminez of Kennett, MO; her son and his wife, Brian and Debbie Quilhot of South Elgin, IL; she also leaves two grandchildren who were the love of her life, Sean and Courtney Quilhot; two sisters, Ann Santor of New Lenox, IL and Beatrice Webster of Salem, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Lisa was loved by many including her family and closes friends. She Worked as a drug and Alcohol counselor so that she could better the lives of others. She was graceful and proud even in the face of cancer. Lisa will forever be remembered as a beautiful wife, loving mother, wonderful grandmother and a true friend. She is now at peace and shall forever sleep in paradise. A memorial will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Warehouse Church 308 East Galena Boulevard in Aurora. Pastor R. Schoof will officiate. The family will receive guest after the memorial. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to St Judes Children's Research Hospital. A charity that was close to her heart.
