Lisa and I reconnected in 2023. Much of our conversation was messaging, games, and sharing on social media, but we spoke by phone at least monthly. She was so brave and upbeat to the end. We had time to reminisce and relive some entertaining times as well as examine the present as adults. She enriched my heart; I have said goodbye to a dear friend. I will wait for her like a river flows to the ocean. Receive her into Your loving arms Abba Father.

What a beautiful tribute for Lisa. My former neighbor and special friend in Novato who inspired me to paint and collage. Her home and yard, filled with colorful art and unique assemblage, inspired me. She always had time to listen to me without judgment. Always had her door open. In two words, Lisa was a "safe person" to be around. No secrets. No facade. When we hung out, I always knew what she was thinking and feeling. So where ever you are, sweet Lisa, I want you to know there's a part of your influence continuing on in me. Thank you for your gifts.

I´m going to miss my friend Lisa. We would plan these elaborate trips and then realize we couldn´t afford them! Unfortunately her cancer wrecked any plans we made. With Bella by her side she walked all over! When they dropped by my house, Bella would walk right in, explore and then head out!
Good by Lisa and Bella. Until we meet again

I´m so sad to hear about Lisa....
Lisa was responsible for getting me my job at Cedars, a position that enhanced my life greatly and inspired me to volunteer in the field when I moved to the East Coast. Lisa was a genuine and intuitively skilled worker with both clients and co-workers and she was always generous in sharing her talents with others. I had the additional privilege of working with her son, Franchesco, who reflected her fantastic parenting in his kindness and ability to truly communicate with anyone.
Sometimes we lose touch in later years and the regret really comes to surface when finality is declared.
Love to Franchesco and to all the Cedars Family.....we were lucky to know her.
