I met Lisa at our Swedish Cancer Support Group and even knowing her for such a short time, she changed my life. She was beautiful, optimistic and determined to find a better diagnosis for this cancer and worked to help make that happen. She will always be a light within me and her family and friends should be so proud of her. My prayers are with all of you.

Lisa made a wonderful mark in our hearts and forever will. She was kind, loving, and compassionate in everything she did.
Our hearts are forever touched
And forevermore they will.
She helped our hearts to fill,
Nothing else could compare-
She is an example of kindness and care.
We are lucky to have known her.
She warmed our hearts like the warmth of fur;
A comfortable feel-
her kindness is so real.
She will be in our hearts forever.
We are lucky to know her. It is rare to meet someone so loving. She was and still is fun-loving, creative, compassionate, kind, sweet - a wonderful person.
Thank you for everything you've done for us, Lisa. We love you.

Lisa was so briefly in my life, but she will be in my heart forever.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Lisa last year while fund raising for the Swedish SummeRun and the Marsha Rivkin Center. In the short time I knew her, I learned very quickly that she was an amazing woman, with a zest for life, a quick wit, strong drive and determination and a huge heart. The words "Lisa had the rarest gift to make everyone who knew her feel special, listened to and loved" ring so true to me as that is exactly how she was. I only wish I could have met her sooner and known her longer. My thoughts are with all of you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Lisa at the fundraiser's event at Dr. Rivkin's house last year. Lisa's speech so inspired me that I worked hard to raise thousands more for the Marsha Rivkin SummeRun than I otherwise would have. I barely met her, but LISA touched me and many others with her passion and commitment.

We are so sorry for your loss. We can't imagine how painful it is to lose someone so young. It sounds like she was an amazing woman that gave and gave and gave. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. She can rest now because God is taking care of her. Jeff and Leanne Stock (friends of John and Patti)

I didn't know Lisa, but I am a friend of her friend, Rosa. Rosa recently sent pictures of them together. When I saw the pictures, Lisa looked so happy and had such a bright smile that I thought she must have been cured. It occurs to me that she lived such a full and joyful life, even when she was dying. I can think of no better time than Easter to spread her ashes. She is and will remain an inspiration to me. I appreciate all her family and friends for supporting her and sharing her story. I didn't know Lisa, but I am the age she was when she was diagnosed. I decided to research ovarian cancer on the internet so I can become more aware. She sounds like she left a huge mark on many peoples lives as well as my own. I am not sure I would have ever checked out ovarian cancer sites had I not read this. Thanks so much to Lisa and her family for making me more aware. My prayers are with all of you.
