60 years on earth I spent with you, my sister and first best friend. I will love you for always and love you forever, my sister you will always be. I’ll be standing in the gap for you as long as I am here and able. I will miss you more than anything I have ever missed. My heart is broken but I know you have met Jesus, the one who died for all. No good bye from me but a see you later♥

Lisa was a beautiful person both inside and out! She and her family have been such a blessing in my and my daughter's life for over 35 years. Lisa will be greatly missed here on earth, but I can't be sad knowing she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Until we meet again my friend

Mrs. Lisa was an amazing person to be around and always made everyone smile that she was with. My parents and I took a few trips with Lisa, Derek and Little Derek when I was younger and we always had a blast! She will be missed so much and I'm so thankful I was able to say goodbye before she left! I love you Mrs. Lisa, fly high, until we meet again.

How blessed I have been to share the role of “grandmother” with Lisa. Even though we had completely different upbringing’s across the country from each other we both shared not only the same birthdate but a profound love of God, family and community. I am so grateful that the love of our two children brought us into each other’s journey through life. I will carry you in my heart always each moment I spend with our grandchildren Lisa.

Derek, Little Derek, Alex, Winnie and family:
I just don’t have the words. I am so sorry for your loss but I’m shouting hallelujah that she’s not in any pain. She’s no longer suffering. I will not forget the pretty girl from high school journalism class or the pretty young woman who I was in Delta Zeta with at Lamar University. Even more, I will never forget the beautiful woman who fought the beast with courage and never once lost sight of God’s comfort. She was a wonderful lady who loved her husband, son, daughter-in-law and her precious grandchildren. Lisa: Live you bunches. I’ll see you again on the other side.
