I am very sorry for your loss.

I remember Dr. Culp for his brilliance as a scientist and his excellence as an educator. He taught the Cell Biology course I took upon joining graduate school at CWRU. He was a fantastic instructor; I I still use concepts learned from him in my research. As such, I hope there is some comfort in knowing that he lives on in all the graduate students he instructed.

I am very sorry for your loss. I was up dating our 1959 class database and came across your husband's obit. He was a very smart man. I spent my life teaching chemistry at Canfield High school. Again, very sorry.

Peg and Cathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is a challenging time for you and your family. I only recently met Lloyd at a Thanksgiving 2023. It was a pleasure chatting with him. He had a wonderful smile. I enjoyed learning about his education and career. What a brilliant man he was. His contribution to science lives on. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and so much more. May you find comfort in knowing you shared a beautiful life with him.

I learned so much from my time with Lloyd. He had an infectious smile and could always light up a room. He would always talk about his kids, grandkids and his partner-in-crime, Peggy.

Lloyd Culp glowed with kindness, His smile said it all. It was not about niceness, which is a surface thing, but about kindness, which runs deep and is suffused with love. I think this is why his sudden disappearance so shocked the residents at Judson Manor. To have lost this necessary presence is tragic.
To put it into words is difficult. To wait for its like to reappear among us is lonely. Rest in peace, Lloyd. You are deeply missed.
