Nancy, I was so saddened to hear of Lloyds passing. I have such fond memories of you both from our time as friends from St Francis. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and friends.

I remember meeting Lloyd through the first of many PLS classes I enrolled in. He was a very interesting man, very caring, thoughtful, just an all around good natured individual. I learned of his passing today from a friend of his, Ross Trout. I am so sorry of his loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Nancy and Family,
May all of the love and laughter you shared,
give you peace and strength, today and always.
His held a presence wherever he was, may you feel that gift, forever in your hearts.
My sincerest sympathies,

Profound sadness for the loss of your husband, father, teacher and friend. He was my friend since 4th grade, we weren't in touch but he was still someone that meant allot to me.
I will be praying for your family especially during this time of grieving.
May God sustain you and keep you near him.
With much love, Tammy

Lloyd, I thank you for being a humble spirit and adding some levity to my typical duties at VJA. I'm glad you wouldn't mind my unannounced and unofficial visits to your class -- they were a needed break. You offered your time, your ear, your empathy. I hoped my offerings were reciprocal. Move beyond and move above, Lloyd; the gate is open for you. Rest in peace. Peace and comfort to the family, as well.

I send my sincerest condolences to the Eichwald family. Mr. Eichwald was my favorite teacher (Honor's Bio, 2005) and was a huge inspiration to me and my decisions in becoming a doctor. He was the most genuine, caring, down-to-earth person you could know. I will always remember his smile and his enthusiasm for doing what he loved. He was a man who positively influenced everyone around him and he will not be forgotten.

Mr. Eichwald was my AP Bio teacher in 1994 at Rich Central in Olympia Fields. He was also our Honey Bowl coach. He always took time with his students, was funny with his corny jokes and made us all feel like we could really achieve our goals. My daughter and niece then had him at Andrew. My prayers and thoughts for his family and friends as he was a rare person and will be missed.

What a loss! A wonderful teacher and co-worker at Andrew High School. A friend to everybody. At the beginning of April I came back and subbed two days at Andrew and we had a chance to chat. He was asking how my retirement was going, and then we talked about him possibly retiring at the end of next year. Well, he has a heavenly retirement, earlier than anyone of us could have expected. RIP, Lloyd, you are loved and will be sorely missed !

"Lloyd Mon"-23 years of working with you gave me an abundance of memories and experiences that will be eternal. From your help on my field trips, numerous days of chatting and commiserating regarding the day to day issues of teaching at Andrew, more than a dozen years of peer coaching together. Of course my previous list needed to include your coaching when Mike Duffy and I were the "BROTHERS" with yourself and the rest of "Staff Infection"-THAT WAS A BLAST-, so thanks my brother-Dan

We send our sincerest condolences to Mrs. Eichwald and her family during this most difficult time. Lloyd will always be remembered by us as the man with the smile Monday thru Friday walking the halls of VJA. We know he loved life, Andrew High School and most of all his family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Cathi and Tom Sulo, VJA retiree class of 2009

Rest In Peace. You were a friend to my brother and a great bike rider, as I recall. My brothers name is Ryan DiDomizio and he always spoke of you fondly. You will be missed.

Oh, Lloyd, the memories. The bicycle rides we did to Brookfield Zoo, the Apple Cider Century or just around the neighborhood. I remember you coming to my wedding and Deb and I going to celebrate your's and Nancy's wedding. The tent! I remember you and Nancy buying that first house around the corner from me on the east side of Tinley.
Coming to observe me in my classroom at Andrew the day our Christmas tree fell. I left, a sub came in...you got to see the whole shebang. And STILL you became a teacher! And what a dedicated teacher you were! At school til the early evening making sure all was well with your plans and your students. How lucky they were! How lucky VJA was to have you!
I am so sorry, Nancy, that you and the kids are not going to be able to enjoy those retirement years when life slows down. He will be with you always.
