Lloyd LONNEBERG Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 26 to Nov. 28, 2013.
LONNEBERG, Lloyd . March 17, 1944 - November 10, 2013. . It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Calvin Lonneberg on November 10, 2013 in Chilliwack, BC. Lloyd will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and son who was loyally supportive of his family. A skilled tradesman, Lloyd served in the air force, the construction industry, and for many years as a millwright at Dairyland and Soya World. Over the years he contributed tirelessly to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers as a shop steward and was an active supporter of the NDP. Lloyd enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, camping, and summers spent on Galiano Island. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held November 30th at 1:00pm at Summerwood Clubhouse, 8428 Venture Way in Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army in Lloyd's name.

With a deep sense of sadness I reluctantly say farewell to my dear Uncle Lloyd. He helped guide me through difficult times. His concern and kindness will not be forgotten.
