Lloyd Nelson Obituary
Lloyd was born in Charleston on January 5, 1942, to the late Lloyd Jackson and Lorena Bowe Nelson. He was a 1959 Graduate of DuPont High School and retired from FMC/Olin Corporation/Clearon Corporation as a Lab Technician with 40 years of service. He was an Army and Navy Veteran serving in the Navy SeaBees. Lloyd also gave the ultimate gift of being an organ donor.
Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Monk Nelson; son, Lloyd Jerry (Lisa) Nelson II of Hurricane; daughter, Kelli (Chris) Bostic of Belle; grandchildren, Loren (Matt) Peck, Luke (Ashton) Nelson, Garrett (Joslyn) Bostic and Allison Bostic; great-grandchildren, Parker Williams and James Bostic; and his beloved pet, Chloe.
At Lloyd's request, cremation has been honored and there will be no services.
