Condolences to your family Skip. You will be missed. SMFT was one of a handful of people I credit with getting me where I am today. Thank you for everything and rest in peace

My heart and prayers go out to Skips family and friends. I worked side by side with Skip for the last year and a half. He was a talented man and knew his trade well. He ran a crew of guys in our shop and the only person he would ever raise his voice to was himself! He would often randomly buy the whole crew burritos or pizza. I hate to see such a kind talented guy go before his time, God must have needed a true craftsman in heaven!

My deepest condolences to this man's family. I had to pleasure of meeting and working with Skip back in 2005 2006 when they were building the main Kaiser hospital in Vacaville. Many times you meet workers on a job and the relationship stop there. But I can honestly share this, skip was a true tradesman, and a mechanic at our craft. Titles did practically do not exist anymore. He was a good man and I respected him immensely. His legacy will silently live on merely by the buildings and structures his hands touched will live on.
I will also add, that he met my son Alexander, and they worked on many jobs together. He was good to my son, respectful, and helpful, and my son Alex/Dixie"as they called him always talked highly of Skip.
I can honestly say I am glad to have work with him and known him for the brief time I did.
May God bless him and his family.

Once upon a time, I shared a room with Skip, and Scott, and Ted. He was a good roomie. The first time I met Skip the Cypress cops had stopped him on his moped and called his mom Winnie to come get him. She took me along to ride the moped home. When we got there you might say she was a bit upset with him. They got in her car and left. I was new there and had barely a clue where I was. And had never rode a moped either. Never even seen one. Somehow, I found my way back and returned Skip's moped to him. Skip had no ill will over the incident and was very nice to me about it.
The other thing I recall most is his artistry. He had a fine talent for putting imaginative thought to drawing on paper.
I am very sorry for his departure from this life and wish all the family well in this sad time. Peace be unto thee.
