SAVANNAH, Mo. - Lloyd M. Wall, 80, Savannah, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at the St. Joseph Living Community.
Born on Aug. 20, 1926, in Whitesville, Mo., he had spent most of his life in Savannah.
He was graduated from Fillmore (Mo.) High School, and was an outstanding athlete, and avid fan in basketball and fast pitch softball. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.
During World War II, he served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific.
On June 4, 1970, he married Pam Boswell, who survives of the home.
Mr. Wall was an entrepreneur with his brother. During his business career, he was the president of Andrew County Implement Inc., where he was the John Deere dealer in Savannah for 32 years. He also owned and operated Wall Brothers Chevrolet Inc., P & S Auto Auction Inc. and farmed the Platte Valley Ranch Inc.
He was a member of the Savannah United Methodist Church; Savannah Masonic Lodge No. 71, A.F. & A.M.; 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason; Moila Shrine; Legion of Honor; Dick Munkres American Legion Post No. 287, Savannah; Andrew County Tiger Club; and University of Missouri Wheel Club; charter member of the building committees for Clasby Community Center and Duncan Hills Golf Course; and was a past member of the Chevrolet Dealers Council.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Leona Bell (Smith) Wall; and a sister, Leona Mary Rankin.
Additional survivors: a daughter, Michelle Limle, and her husband, Bo, St. Joseph; two sons, Greg Wall, and his wife, Billie Sue, Savannah; and Scott Wall, and his wife, Chrissy, St. Joseph; four granddaughters, Tiffani Schneider, Lyndsay Wall, Lexi Wall and Claudia Wall; a great-grandson, Ben; a brother, Raymond Wall, Savannah; a sister, Beverly June, Virden, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Service: 10 a.m. Monday, at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Joseph. Interment: Savannah Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and a Masonic service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday under the direction of Savannah Lodge No. 71, A.F & A.M. Military rites at the grave will be under the auspices of Dick Munkres American Legion Post No. 287.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Savannah United Methodist Church, Moila Shrine Transportation Fund or Hands of Hope Hospice.

Lloyd was a friend and will be missed. I got to know him as a Chevy dealer when I was with Bond Chevrolet in Troy Kansas. He will be dearly missed. Our prayers to our to his family
