Logan GARDNER Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 26, 2003.
GARDNER _ Logan "Keith", husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather passed away suddenly Friday, December 19th, 2003 at home surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his devoted wife of 46 years, Rose, daughter Penny, son Kevin, daughter-in-law Michelle, and much adored granddaughters Gillian and Danielle. He is survived by his sister Charlotte (Ron) Shally, brothers Dennis (Edith), Mac (Marie), Gary (Lori), and many special nieces, nephews, close family and cherished friends. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Choice, sisters Edna Hofstad and Irene Black, and his faithful companion Kody. He fought a brave battle against cancer with courage and dignity all the while staying strong for his family by making us laugh and feel loved. Born in Estevan, SK on January 11th, 1933 he moved to BC in 1946 living his life in Delta and Surrey. He worked for many years in the trades as an electrician, and served as a volunteer firefighter in Delta. Keith enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping; loved bluegrass and gospel music and was an avid sports fan and reader. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 29th, 2003 at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660 - 72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC at 10:00 a.m. with burial and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the BC Lung Association or BC Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes And pray that he will come back. Or you can open your eyes and see all he's left. Blessed Be His Memory
