I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. Lois was my mother's table companion at the Elizabeth Bruyère Residence. I grew very fond of her in the last year and will miss talking with her. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Uncle Jos & Julie Ann,
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Lois. Aunt Lois was a special aunt and godmother to me. Growing up, she brought such fun and whimsy to our lives. A day spent with Aunt Lois could involve skipping down the street, singing songs, dressing in costumes and having lots of fun. She paid great attention to detail, making sure to have your favourites on hand and that she knew how to spell everything correctly! Aunt Lois loved to write notes and had such a fun script. We never knew what we'd get in the mail, maybe a note, an article, or a box of chocolates from Stratford. She didn't just like certain things, she adored them, and was often tickled pink, showing an enthusiasm rarely found.
Montréal was a favourite city of hers and I enjoyed when she came to visit me at McGill and took me for lunch at the club. Lunch slowly turned into dinner as we stayed past closing. It didn't matter. Aunt Lois frequented the places that would treat you right. She loved service!
While in recent years, I didn't see her much, my warm thoughts of her and the impression she made still remain strong. I will always remember her kindness, her love of etiquette, the sound of her laughter, and her joie de vivre.
Tootles,
Lisa (aka Queen Midas)
