Born in Wadsworth, IL, Lois was a
daughter of the late Leo "Sandy" and Janet (Howard) Schlosser.
She graduated from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL.
Lois was employed by Great Lakes Naval Base starting in 1948. She was responsible for the microfilm operations
library at Great Lakes Naval Base through 1974 until it was moved to Mechanicsburg Navy Depot, where she retired in 1980. She continued to work for numerous government contractors following her retirement.
After moving to Berks County in 1994, Lois enjoyed and was very involved in the Women's Social Club of Berks County, Red Hat Society, Berks Women in Crisis, and the Spring Ridge Library.
She is survived by her four children: Barbara A., wife of Mark Drey, Wernersville; Kevin L. Crabb, Camp Hill; Timothy J., husband of Sharon Crabb, Ingleside, IL; and Terry J., husband of Erica Crabb, Medford, WI; sister: Kay Jansen, Waukegan, IL; brother: Gil Schlosser, Wadsworth, IL; and grandchildren: Heather, Molly, and Taylor Schreiner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was predeceased by her sister, Hazel Spiers.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be made, in her name, to the American Heart Association, a cause that was dear to Lois.

We have lost a one of a kind, special woman. I feel lucky to have known Lois and glad that we became good friends. She will be missed. My sympathies to her family.
