Lois Gram Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 5, 2025.
Lois Gram, 88, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Montrose, Colorado. Born on February 26, 1937, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lois lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orris Gram. Together they built a life centered around love and devotion-a legacy that continues through their children and grandchildren. Lois is survived by her sister Jaunita Gilbertson and sons Joel Richmond (Patty) Jeff Richmond (Dana), and her daughters Jane Mound (Randy) and Jean Holder. She had thirteen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother whose presence brought warmth and strength to those around her.

Lois was a force of nature who fiercely loved her family. Her unwavering Christian faith guided every aspect of her life. A strong and faithful believer, she was deeply involved in her church community-attending services regularly, participating in Bible studies, and sharing her message with anyone who sought comfort or guidance.

Her generosity extended beyond the walls of the church. Lois volunteered for many organizations throughout her life, always eager to lend a helping hand where it was needed most. Whether she was organizing community events or offering quiet support behind the scenes, she gave of herself freely and joyfully.

In addition to her spiritual commitments and volunteer work, Lois found joy in simple pleasures. She loved gardening-nurturing flowers and vegetables with the same care she gave to those around her. She also enjoyed bowling and cherished the camaraderie it brought into her life.

Lois's legacy is one of faith, resilience, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral. She asked instead for a celebration of life with her children and grandchildren spending time in fellowship and joy in the memories they shared.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
