Lois Ruth Mohr

Lois Ruth Mohr, 92, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 3, 2024. She was born on June 7, 1931, in Franksville, Wisconsin, to the late Edward & Helen Feldbauer. Lois was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Rana Kane (Ed), and son, Steven Mohr (Judy). She was the loving spouse of the late Bernyl Mohr, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Her memory will be cherished by her grandsons, Matthew Mohr (Tara) and Taylor Kane, her granddaughter, Lindsey Kane, and her great-grandson, Tucker Kane.

Lois attended Wisconsin Academy for high school and later pursued her education at Andrews University Secretarial LPN School in LaCross, Wisconsin. She had a successful career as a secretary and nurse, dedicating her time and skills to helping others.

Lois was a member of the Reading Hampden Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith. She lived a life guided by her beliefs and found comfort in her religious community.

In her free time, Lois enjoyed playing both the piano and organ, showcasing her musical talents. She also had a passion for collecting owls, which brought her joy and filled her home with whimsical charm.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date to honor and remember Lois Ruth Mohr. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
