Lois Wasstrom Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from Oct. 13 to Oct. 14, 2016.
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lois Anne Wasstrom (nee Hutton). Lois is survived by her loving family, her husband Randy; her children Eric (Ashley), Steven (Nicole), and Kathryn; her grandson Colby; and her brother Jim. Excelling in many areas, Lois was a wonderful teacher-later a business owner-a talented writer, and an amazing friend. A celebration of life will be held for Lois on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Eagle Ridge United Church (2813 Glen Drive) in Coquitlam at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or Eagle Ridge United Church.

I am saddened to hear of your loss. Lois and I were high school buddies. Although we have not seen each other in a very long time, I have some very wonderful memories of our teen years and think of them often. I am certain your family will have many fond memories of Lois and you will be comforted by them in your time of sorrow.
