White, Lois T., 95, of Montgomery passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Lois was born on June 16, 1916 in Elmore County and worked for many years in the textile industry. She was a devoted member of the University Church of Christ and was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, daughters: Margie Hakala and Dorothy Smith; granddaughter: Kathy Smith and grandson: Randy Stanley. She is survived by her son: Larry Alford and wife Cindy of Montgomery; Granddaughters: Sandy Morrison of Wetumpka; Vickie King and husband Scott; Kimberly Miller and husband Glen, both of Montgomery; Grand sons: Wesley Alford and wife Katie of Toney, Al.; David Alford and wife Sherry of Madison, Al.; Lee Alford and wife Keri, of Montgomery; 20 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Leak Memory Minister Randy Medlin officiating. Interment will follow at Coosa River Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.leak-mc.com.
