Lois T. White

White, Lois T., 95, of Montgomery passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Lois was born on June 16, 1916 in Elmore County and worked for many years in the textile industry. She was a devoted member of the University Church of Christ and was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, daughters: Margie Hakala and Dorothy Smith; granddaughter: Kathy Smith and grandson: Randy Stanley. She is survived by her son: Larry Alford and wife Cindy of Montgomery; Granddaughters: Sandy Morrison of Wetumpka; Vickie King and husband Scott; Kimberly Miller and husband Glen, both of Montgomery; Grand sons: Wesley Alford and wife Katie of Toney, Al.; David Alford and wife Sherry of Madison, Al.; Lee Alford and wife Keri, of Montgomery; 20 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Leak Memory Minister Randy Medlin officiating.
