Mother Lola B. Arthur was born to the late Rosie L. Marshall and John Cusic Sr. in Arcola Mississippi. She was the youngest of sic siblings. She excepted Christ at an early age as her personal Savior. As she began to reside in Gary, IN she united with the Evening Star Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. Nathaniel Cusic Sr. During her later years of life, she began to fellowship faithfully as a member and mother of God’s Temple of Prayer Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert Nichols.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Neal Arthur Jr. and to this union 10 Children were born.
Lola is preceded in death by her husband, Neal Arthur Jr.; 4 daughters: Susie Harvey (Arthur, Maxine Wade, Lynette Arthur, Cassandra Greer; 1 granddaughters: Sharika Neal (baby) and Angela Smith; 1 great-granddaughter (baby) R’Niyah Cameron; 1 grandson, Tremayne Theron Tyler; 4 brothers, Earnest Allen, John Cusic Jr., Willie D. Cusic, Rev. Nathaniel Cusic Sr.; 1 sister, Mary Stringer.
She leaves to cherish her memories Natchie Finch of Michigan City, IN, Joyce (Joseph) Neal of Harvey, IL, Regina Palms, Jacqueline Arthur, Doris Arthur all of Sacramento, CA; son, Darryl (Cynthia) Arthur of West Dundee, IL; Loving sister-in-law, Henrine Cusic and a host of grand and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
