Lona,
I was so sad to hear of your passing. I know the pain your loved ones are going through, not having you there with them. (My family layed our father to rest in Feb). I will always have memories of us growing up as young girls in Good Old Mt Airy. You were such a go getter, always knew what you wanted. You were a great person and friend. I wish we would of kept in touch over the years. My heart goes out to your family.

THERESA AND FAMILY
I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LOSE OF YOUR SISTER LONA, WE HAD A LOT OF GREAT TIMES GROWING UP IN MT. AIRY. I HAVEN'T SEEN LONA IN MANY YEARS BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE SHE WAS A PRETTY WONDERFUL PERSON.
LONA IS IN THE HANDS OF THE LORD, SHE IS YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL WATCHING OUT FOR YOUR FAMILY.
TO THE CHILDREN OF LONA, YOUR MOTHER WAS GOOD FRIEND TO ME AS WE CHILDREN. I HAVE KNOWN YOUR MOM SINCE GRADE SCHOOL, WE PLAYED FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS TOGETHER, YOU WERE BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH A SPECIAL MOTHER. SHE IS LOOKING DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS AND SMILING AT THE WONDERFUL THINGS SHE KNOWS YOU ALL CAN DO WITH YOUR LIFES. DOBN'T LET THE MEMORIES YOU MADE TOGETHER FADE, REMEMBER HER FACE WITH A SMILE.
GOD BLESS

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Words can not say how sorry I am to hear about Lona. She was a wonderful person and meant alot to everyone. She always made me feel welcome in her home. I remember when I was about 11 I sent out flyers to babysit (baby sitting club) with my friend Melissa Bolle after handing out what seemed like hundreds of flyers she was the only one to call us back. I started watching you right away and hung out with you and got to watch you grow. It has been about 13 years since I have seen most of you and was shocked when I seen you on the news. You are a strong family and have alot of wonderful peole around you to help you with this hard time. My prayers and thoughts are always with you!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Erica, Anna, Amber, Elizabeth,
My heart aches for you girls, I know first hand the pain you are feeling.
Your mom was a super mom. She was there for you in everything that you do. She was the kindest and most loving person I have ever met.
She loved you girls more than life itself.
I see all of her traits in each one of you, this is how I know you will make it through this. I wish I could give you an answer to why this had to happen, but I can't.
I can only tell you that I will be there for whatever you need and I love you with all my heart.

To the Daughters of Lona,
My Heart and Prayers go out to you all. I pray that the Lord gives you comfort and Strength in this difficult time and all your days to come. Your mom may be gone but her spirit will always live on and be with you all in everything you do.
To Those Whom I Love
And Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I thankyou for the love each have shown
But now it is time I travelled on alone
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories in your heart
I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and welcome you home.
