Lonnie R. Maggart

Lonnie was a great friend and neighbor of Jill and myself. Although we moved back East to Massachusetts I never forgot he or Jan. Will always be a memorable part of my life .

Lonnie used to join my husband, also a Viet Nam vet, and a few others of us at Black Dog Pub. We had such an interesting time visiting. I enjoyed those lunches very much and always looked forward to them. I will so very much miss Lonnie.

I remember calling on Lonnie when he was the traffic Manager for Central Soya. We would laugh at where we come from being truck driver as we started in the transportation industry. I was a salesman for Carolina Freight Carriers and I would take Lonnie to lunch. He was a very good person and I liked talking with him for the knowledge that we had in the trucking industry.

Lonnie, Thank you for letting me share a small part of your life.
I will cherish the memories of you and I in the woods and on the water.
Until we meet again buddy, Rest In Peace.
And to all of the Maggart family, your in my thoughts and prayers.

It was great getting to know you, Scooter and Murphy. We always enjoyed our talks and of course Buddie loved getting treats on our visits. Rest in Peace Lonnie. We miss you!!!
