LORA BETH BATSON

My heart goes out to all my distant family members, I’m so sorry for your loss and the pain you’re left to deal with. Although we may not see or hear from one another, I think of my kinfolk in Texas often. Lora Beth was so sweet and supportive when my mom passed; she called and sent a beautiful plant that is still the center piece of our sun room. I always hoped that someday we would have an opportunity to get together and catch up. Although my memories of Lora Beth are mostly from childhood, they are fond, this loss saddens me deeply.

We will miss Lora. She was my neighbor for several years. She was a wonderful person and mother. My daughter would play with sidewalk chalk in her driveway and my oldest daughter went to school with Tyler.

I am so sorry for the passing of Mrs. Batson. Her daughter, Lilly Batson was one of my students in my Multimedia Class at Stroman last year. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lilly and her family during this troublesome time.

I remember Lora's beautiful smile and compassionate personality in high school. She surely touched many lives with her kindness. May God bless her family and loved ones.

Prayers for the family. I worked with Lora a few years ago and remember her smile and good advice on love and life. May her family find peace and comfort in all the memories.

So sorry to hear about Lora. I have some fond memories of her when we were playing Bunco and Keeno together. I certainly will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Lora was our neighbor for 8 years. How I loved talking with her! We celebrated during good times and comforted each other during bad. Even though her children were older, she kept toys and chalk in her garage for all the little neighbor children to play and draw with. She had the most colorfulful driveway in the neighborhood! She would always have special goodie bags for my boys during the holidays and Joe loved the pumpkin bread she brought over at Thanksgiving. Lora never seemed bothered when I would call her and ask her to look out her kitchen window to see whether or not I put down my garage door! We still laughed about that when she moved recently. There will never be another friend or neighbor like Lora. She was so beautiful and generous. She is missed so much. Our prayers and love go out to her family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lora at Victoria Pool Service and Supply where we worked together for a few years. I always knew that my day would start with a good morning with a side of smile and my day would end with a have a good evening, I'll see you tomorrow with a side of smile. She and I would talk about everything under the sun. She would even proof read my college papers before I turned them in for a grade. Her advice always came with a smile and a hug. She was a great person and this world will miss her. If you ever came across her even if it was just for a second, you will never forget her. That is the impact she had on people. May she rest in peace with our heavenly father in heaven!!

I have known Lora, Jody and the kids since Tyler started Kindergarten in my classroom at Nursery Elementary so many years ago. I enjoyed getting to know Lora and share a truly wonderful friendship with her. The shock of losing her so abruptly is immense. I pray that the family will find comfort in the special memories they have of Lora through the years. I extended to Tyler, Savanna and Lilly my most sincere sympathy. I will be praying for you and the rest of your family!

I was so sorry to hear the news about Lora. I met her when my son and Tyler attended Nursery Elementary together. She was beautiful on the inside and out, and she treasured her three children. May God help the family find strength and healing in the days ahead. She will be missed.

Lora was a great friend and I will miss her so much. She was a coworker of mine for alot of years at Victoria Pool Service. She was always able to make me laugh and we would share stories about school and family. I would tease her about being older than me if only by a couple of months. My prayers and best wishes go out to her family who have suffered a greivous loss. She will be welcomed into Heaven by our Holy Father and will be missed here on earth.

I was blessed to know Lora for only a couple of years when I worked with her at Victoria Pool Service. She was a joyful person and always had a kind word for someone. A lady who was able to make someones day a little better by just talking to her. Her soul will live forever in Heaven and will be sorely missed on earth.

My prayers are will you all. I am so sorry that Lora is no longer with us. I will never forget the love and support that she extended to me and my kids when I lost my husband. She didn't even know me, but she came to me, introduced herself and offered compassion and support to us. Because of that Lilly and Haylea became instant, inseparable friends for a very long time. Lora was a wonderful, loving and compassionate woman. Even though we had not talked much the past few years, I would think of you all often. She will be dearly missed. We were so saddened to learn of Lora's untimely departure from this earth. She was truly a lovely person, with a beautiful and loving heart. We first got to know Lora when she lived in the Nursery area with her family and her children went to Nursery ISD where our daughter taught kindergarten. In fact, Lora babysat our grandchildren occasionally. We remember several times when, out of the goodness of her heart, she would bring us fresh eggs from her chickens. Then the family moved into town and we sort of lost touch. We will always remember her as a bubbly, beautiful person, both inside and out. We pray that the consolation of her entrance into her Heavenly home will ease the pain of her move from this temporary, earthy home. May God grant you strength and peace during this difficult and sorrowful time.

Lora had a very sweet and sensitive heart. I have many fond memories of her and her contagious smile. I pray that her family and friends finds peace the fact that she is resting in the arms of the Lord our God.

I met Lora at Ms. Luna's nursery, we went all through school together and had been friends since, most recently we'd been in touch via Facebook. I am saddened and I will miss Lora.

I am so sorry to learn that Lora Beth is gone and will miss her very much. I so treasure my many fond memories of the sleep overs we used to have when the family lived in Baywood and the fun we had in Girl Scouts. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.
