"To The family of Trooper Larry Mittelstadt. It is with great sadness to learn of the loss of my friend. Larry was a kind person who enjoyed his job and was fair and helpful to the people he worked with and the other departments he was all ways so willing to help when requested. Larry retired 1 year before I did from the SO I missed seeing his happy face on the road. I will miss you my friend."

Larry was one of the nicest guys I encountered while living in Fond du Lac. He had a personality that was contagious. He loved to fish and hunt. I once remarded to Judy that Larry should become a hunting and fishing guide. Her reply was "if Larry had to work at it; he wouldn't like it." He was a good family man also. My condolences to his family.

To the Family of Larry Mittelstadt,
The Wisconsin State Patrol is a family of great people who have dedicated their careers to public safety. No family exemplifies that dedicated service more than the Mittelstadt family. Larry served the state with true professionalism. The many accomplishments of his law enforcement service and his legacy will live on for many years to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Larry's Family-I knew Larry from being a Trooper out of District 3 at FonduLac. We may have worked
on some details together. I worked mostly out of Sheboygan during my years on the road. Judy, we may
have met you at the District Christmas parties etc. I was in the 2nd Academy Class in 1956. I recall Larry
coming to one or two of our retiree breakfasts in Sheboygan that I arranged. I always remember Larry
being jovial and with a smile. My deepest sympathy is extended to your entire Family. Larry has reached
the Promised Land. Yours in Christ, Orv Frohxxxx
