Loretta Divita Obituary
A lifelong learner, Loretta earned her bachelor's degree in 2014 and maintained an appreciation for education throughout her life. She was an avid reader who found joy and comfort within the pages of countless books. Her affection for literature was matched by her love for her pet cats, who were her faithful companions over the years.
Family held a special place in Loretta's heart. She treasured the time spent with her three nieces, one nephew, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins. Loretta had a particular passion for family history and enjoyed preserving the stories and memories of generations past. Loretta regularly attended a local annual celebration honoring her paternal grandparents' birthplace in Sicily and presented by The Society of Maria SS. Lauretana of Altavilla Milicia. She found joy in celebrating her family heritage.
Loretta was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Divita; her mother, Laura Divita; and her sister, Virginia Jenkinson. Their memories lived on through Loretta's dedication to honoring family traditions and connections.
Her warm smile, generous spirit, and positive outlook left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Loretta's kindness, humor, and unwavering warmth will be deeply missed. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
