I worked with Lorretta back around 1985-1986 at Maintenance by Murphy, we were like oil and water at first, I think I resented and 'outsider' coming in as supervisor and telling me what to do, we got into arguments and even cursing at her and she was completely unphased by it! But pretty soon we got on ok and became friends, I used to call her 'Aunt Retta' so that's how far we patched things up!
She was a real sweetheart and near the time I left to move to Oregon in 1987 she was like an Aunt to me, I corresponded with her a few times but things were difficult and I lost contact with her. 10 years later I was in Vermont for the day and my sister and I decided to go to the mall and pick up some things, I'll be darn if walking from the car to the store I saw this lady just up ahead and thought she looks like 'Aunt Retta'! well by gosh I walked up and asked 'is that you Aunt Retta??' she was so surprised as I was! we had a nice few minutes conversation, it was good to see her again. Just yesterday I decided to google her and found she passed away 15 years ago, I had a small hope maybe I would find her on facebook or something and chat her up, but that wont happen now. Take care 'Aunt Retta' !!

We are both saddened by Lorette's passing. She was a good and kind soul, and we are all diminished by her loss.

Hey Sue and Family, It's been so many years, but the time that I spent with you all is a memory that's never left my mind. Your mother will always be in my memories as someone who's happiness and love was left as a handprint on my heart. The many nights of listening to the piano from your bedroom upstairs and Lorrette and Joe and friends telling jokes and the laughter we spent many nights going to sleep with. Those are all things that I could never and will never forget. Lorette always made me feel like family. Love to you always.

We want to add our sincere condolences. Lorette was such a terrific person. Always friendly and actually interested in each and every person. My Aunt Lil was so saddened by Loretta's illness - she was one of the neighbor Bingo ladies! Please know our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

We were so sorry to hear of Ma's passing. For so many years I stayed many nights there with Darrel, Brian & Kirk. As teenagers I am sure we were a lot to put up with, but her and Paul always made me feel welcome. She was a very special lady and is survived by some special people as well. Especially Susie & Paul who have been checking in on, and helping out my grandparents, their neighbors, while they were also taking care of Ma.

We were so sorry to hear of Ma Poulin's passing. She was always so friendly and took the time to talk to every customer at the Mobil, whether she knew you or not. She could brighten any day with her brillant smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
