LORETTA HALPIN The passing of Loretta Georgina Halpin, age 85, occurred on Thursday, November 27, 2009 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. She came into this world on September 19, 1924 in the District of Damour, SK. She is predeceased by her parents Barame and Jeanne Jane Brunet. She will be greatly missed by her children Allan (Peggy), Allard (Rachelle), Patrick, Marc and Claudette; as well as her loving grandchildren, Curtis (Tammy), Dean, Denita (Murray), Becky (Dave), Janet, Arlen, Lacey, Shaeli, Brian, Allison, as well as eleven greatgrandchildren. Loretta is also predeceased by one sister and leaves behind seven brothers and two sisters. Loretta's early years were spent farming close to her place of birth. In 1965 she moved to Saskatoon where she enjoyed many years with family baking her sought after bread and pastries. Loretta was also an avid gardener, cook and seamstress. She always looked forward to her summer vacations in Qu'Appelle Valley and then later relaxing in the lake or the spa at Manitou Beach. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
