Dear Barbara, I was startled to see your mom's death notice, because I can't imagine her any way but lively, inquiring, interested in just about everything. I saw her last many years ago when she joined Contact Pittsburgh where I volunteered. I doubt that you'd even remember us, but we were your next door neighbors for a few years on Forest Drive. I know I join hundreds of Loretta's loving friends as I send my deepest condolences to Barb. It was my privilege to have know Loretta and Fran for nearly forty years, first as a Johns Hopkins undergraduate and later as a member of the Pittsburgh alunmni association chapter for which she devoted so many caring hours. Loretta embodied the ideals of professional nursing in all of her personal relationships and cared deeply for each and all of her friends. May she rest in eternal peace in the company of her beloved husband.
