Loretta Stempinski Obituary
Loving and devoted Aunt to ten nieces and nephews, many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews, step-brothers, dear friends and her cats, Lily and Pepi.
Graduate of The Pennsylvania State College (now Penn State University), Veteran of World War II and Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC). With a coy smile, she would tell a favorite story of her Army days - managing the flight simulation exercises for prospective Army pilots. We can only imagine what she put them through!
For over 60 years she served faithfully as an Associate, Board Member, Trustee and Trustee Emeritus for The Firm of John Dickinson Schneider, Inc. (Hollister Incorporated). "Hollister was a family. This company is a part of me. It's engrained. It's deep. I hope that I have given a measure of myself."
Memorial Service and Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums.
7201 Archer Avenue, Justice, IL on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
Please arrive at the Main Office parking lot 10 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter, 13016 W. 151st Street, Homer Glen, IL 60491 or at www.tlcanimalshelter.org.

Loretta will be remembered with great affection by the whole Winn family. She was a respected and cherished associate and good friend of my late husband Michael. I had the privilege to travel with my husband and Loretta on many business trips for many years. She had the gift of creating an atmosphere of joy and laughter wherever or whoever she was with. She was a devoted employee of Hollister and a faithful and caring friend to so many. Sincere condolences to her family.
May she rest in peace.

I had the great honor to work with, travel and enjoy Loretta's company for 60 years. She was a wonderful friend, great mentor and role model during our days together at Hollister Incorporated. My husband, Bob, and I miss travelling with her and our visits at her home.

Aunt Loretta was a kind and very generous person. She helped so many people. She loved her cats. I live in California and did not get to be with her as much as I would like. I was fortunate to see her a year ago in April. That was the best three hours I had with her. I am so glad she had a full life with her career and was able to travel all over the world.

I met her as a new niece 40
years ago. I wish I'd had more time to spend with her, but my
sisters filled in the blanks.
