Lori Lynn Goldstein, 48, of Reform, Alabama and former resident of Austin, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2011. She was born December 20, 1962 in Austin, Texas. She is survived by her father, John A. Goldstein and wife Linda of Austin; her mother, Judy Kitchens and husband Ronnie of Austin; sister, Shelli Smithey and husband John of Round Rock; daughter, Amber Benham and husband David of Geneva, Georgia; son, Jason Schager and daughter, Lyndsey Schager of Sioux City, Iowa; grandchildren, Dalas and Delani Benham of Geneva, Georgia; and grandchildren, Caidan and Cash of Sioux City, Iowa. Lori is further survived by nephew, Kyle Stutts and niece, Madison Goldstein of Round Rock, TX; cousin, Brian Bauerle and his children, Shyanne, Ty, and McKenzie of Encenal, Texas; cousin, Carla Anderson and husband Burt and their children Clayton and Brett of Weatherford, TX; her favorite Aunt, Janice Bauerle of Austin; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Goldstein family. She is preceded in the death by her grandparents, Delbert and Rubell Cook of Austin; and grandparents, Carl "Poodle" and Jane Goldstein of Elgin, TX. Lori graduated from LBJ High School in Austin, Texas. She also worked with numerous companies in the Austin area. Lori enjoyed long rides on Harley Davidsons. She was also involved in the Bunny Run and Toy Run benefiting the Helping Hand Home for Children located in Austin. She was loved by many family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Memorial Service will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish on 2620 S. Congress Ave. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Bagdad Cemetery, Leander, Texas. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Helping Hand Home for Children, 3804 Avenue B, Austin, TX 78751 (512) 459-3353.
