Lori Elizabeth Jacobs

August 11, 1984 - January 6, 2023
Passed away suddenly at home after a long battle with Lymphoma. Beloved wife of David and deeply missed by daughter Alexis. Cherished daughter of Mike and Cindy Jacobs and sister of Stephen and the late Jessica (1995). Much loved daughter-in-law of James and Mary Lou Burton and sister-in-law to Liz and Ben Ferrill and aunt to Lucy and Mason Ferrill. Granddaughter to the late Bill and Mildred Bridle and Norm and Phyllis Jacobs. Always remembered by her good friend Amy Crough and all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and all of her many friends and her fur babies.
Lori was born and raised in Peterborough and attended Westmount PS, PCVS and Sir Sandford Fleming College. She enjoyed her time spent in Brownies, Girl Guides and Pathfinders. As a teenager she skated with the Crystal Blades Synchronized skating team. Most of all she enjoyed travelling and family time camping with her loved ones and going fishing, and all her time spent at the family trailer at Red Eagle where she loved to spend time playing bingo, kicking butt in cards and beating her dad at Crib, also sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows. Die hard champion of her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Penquins. She loved cake decorating and watching her favorite show "Friends" and all of her cooking and reality shows. She spent countless hours doing crafts, puzzles and lego and most of all loved cuddling with Alexis watching movies.
Lori will be laid to rest beside her sister Jessica and her Grandparents Bill and Mildred Bridle.
A Celebration of Lori's life will be held at Highland Park Funeral Center, 2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, K9J 1C5. To be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m., service at 2 p.m. with interment and reception to follow.
