Lori Ann Kelliher

We're deeply saddened to announce that Lori Ann Kelliher (née White), age 65, passed away suddenly on April 6, 2023. Born on February 17, 1958, she grew up in East Hartford before graduating from East Catholic High School in 1976. She attended Bay Path Junior College for a time before graduating from Manchester Community College. A lifelong caretaker, she worked as a nurse at Manchester Memorial Hospital and as an educational paraprofessional in Glastonbury.

A loving mother, Lori raised three children and recently devoted much of her love and energy to helping raise her grandchildren, Everly and Emerson.

Lori was a constant source of warmth, joy and laughter. An avid animal lover, she cared for many different pets, including her longtime companion, Charlie. She enjoyed exploring tag sales with her friends, attending concerts, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox and New York Giants. She loved spending time with her family in Mystic, Connecticut; Westerly, Rhode Island; and Sanibel Island, Florida.

She is survived by her husband John; her daughters Jamie and Meghan; her son Michael; her parents Kenneth and Norma; her sister Kellie; her brother Michael; her sons-in-law Michael and Timothy; her brother-in-law Tally; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends who will greatly miss her.

Family and friends may call at John F Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St. in Manchester, on Friday, April 14th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. James Church in Manchester on Saturday, April 15th at 10 a.m.
