A California native, Lorna was a spirited fighter, beating multiple forms of cancer and other serious health matters over decades. Lorna lived with vim and vigor and was the happiest while enjoying the sun, socializing with her many friends, playing tennis, or dancing. Lorna is survived by her son, David Dennis Ritter, his wife Rose, and her grandchildren Kylie and Alden. Family, friends, and others, whose lives Lorna touched, are invited to celebrate her life at the Los Gatos Lodge, 50 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd., Los Gatos, CA 95032, from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, to reminisce, grieve, support each other, say some words and stories, and, of course, just chat.

Dear Ritter family. I met Lorna some years ago at the South Bay open mic. She attended not only the weekly open mic but the picnics out at Vasona Park. She like the 50's 60's music that I play and asked me to play certain songs for her which I was willing to accommodate as she kept me looking for new songs to play. My condolences to the Ritter family. I will try and make it to the Lodge

I knew Lorna as an avid art lover. She often came to the Portola Art Gallery to enjoy the art. Rest in peace, Lorna.

My cousin Lorna was a unique spirit who made her own path in this world. I have fond memories of growing up together and sharing special family moments with the Reshatoff family. I will remember her for her fierce love of life and art. My prayers are with the Ritter family. Due to health reasons I can't attend the services but my thoughts will be with you. I would welcome contact from the family. God bless.
