I'm very sorry to learn of Lorraine's passing. I only met her near the end of her battle as her Physio on U30 at Foothills. Her strength and sense of humour stood out from the second I walked in the room. My heart goes out to her boys (big and small) for their loss.

I'm very sorry to hear of this sad news. I knew Lorraine at Bishop Carroll High School and into our early 20's. Although we lost touch over the years, I have fantastic memories of her (sometimes warped) sense of humour, fun, laughter, intelligence, confidence and moral support. It sounds like she became an amazing women. My deepest sympathies and much love to family and friends.

My deepest condolences to Lorraine's family and friends. I remember how much fun we used to have when we were in junior high at St Vincent de Paul. A lot of us that knew her back then have been reminiscing about all the good memories we have with her. She was a very bright light in this world. So shocked and sad to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace.

I remember Lorraine from St. Vincent exactly how she was described - sense of humour, bright, and practical. A really good person has left our world but will not be forgotten.

"None but those shadowed by death's approach are suffered to know that death is a blessing; the gods conceal this from those who have life before them in order that they may go on living." Lucan, De bello civili, Book 4.517-20 My thoughts are with you all at this time. May the memory of Lorraine shine on for always.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lorraine gave me the best piece of advice, I was dealing with a bad break up and she told me that if I was in the right relationship, it wouldn't be hard. She was right! Rest in peace Lorraine. I am glad I knew you.

St. Vincent de Paul was fun because of Lorraine. Her wit and intelligence kept us smiling. She was also very compassionate and willing to help any of us with our homework. Making friends came easily to Lorraine because her joy of life was contagious and we all wanted to be around her. Though we lost touch over the years, she has always been a positive influence on me. I hope that the many great memories of Lorraine bring her family strength and healing. RIP my beautiful friend!

I used to ride the bus home with Lorraine after school, and she would make me laugh at the funniest things. We reconnected years later, after uni, and she was still the energetic, intelligent and gregarious girl I'd known at SVdP.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your boys and your family. Rest in peace my friend.

The friendships we make in junior high often last a lifetime and even though I have not seen or laughed with Lorraine for countless years I am saddened by this loss. She had such an impact on me at St. Vincent de Paul and I send hugs to her family. I am so sorry for your loss.
