Lorraine Crovo

Lorraine (Labadini) Crovo, formerly of Somerville and Stoneham, passed away on March 23, 2016 surrounded by her family at the Warde Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Windham, NH. Born in Somerville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Cecelia (Coppelotti) Labadini. In earlier years, Lorraine volunteered with the St. Catherine CYO program and enjoyed knitting and crocheting, she was also a great cook. A fan of Sinatra, Dean Martin and all the classic artists; she also enjoyed the performing arts. Most of all, Lorraine was especially devoted to her family, she was their rock. She will be lovingly remembered as a determined, creative and independent woman, who kept her sense of humor and personality even while battling Alzheimers disease. Lorraine was the former wife of the late Robert D. Crovo, Sr. She was the loving and devoted mother of Deborah M. Mosca and her husband Anthony of Medford, Laura C. Massua and her husband Vincent of Merrimack, NH, Robert D. Crovo, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Peabody and Lorraine M. Ortiz and her husband Michael of Derry, NH and cherished grandmother of Marc and Brendan Fayle, Craig, Anthony and Steven Massua, Robert III and Marisa Crovo, Michaela and Robert Ortiz. Dear sister of Frank Labadini of Woburn and the late Joe, John, Mary Labadini and Rita DeSimone. Funeral Procession was held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Wednesday at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Catherine Church, Somerville at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Calling Hours were held on Tuesday 4pm-8pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
