Lorraine Davis Obituary

Lorraine Ruby Davis Lorraine Ruby Davis (Sullivan) was born October 10, 1921, in Duluth, Minnesota to Dennis and Esther Sullivan. She was very close to her parents. During WWII, she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a switchboard operator. In 1946, she met Donald R. Davis and after a week of courtship they were married. They moved back to Minnesota and raised six children: Craig, Scott, Brian, Diane, Jason and Debra. Lorraine loved to sing and joined "Sweet Adelines." In 1962, the family moved to Atascadero. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she served for many years. She loved doing geneology. Lorraine is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. She was sweet and kind to all she met and loved by many. She will be greatly missed. A service for Lorraine will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 26, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2600 Ramona Rd., Atascadero, Calif. 93422. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. May that wonderful treasure fill your heart with love and bring you a measure of peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
