As Thanksgiving approaches I am so grateful to have been able to call Lorraine my Godmother. She had such a twinkle in her eyes and seemed to be lit from within. I'll always remember making cookies with her and how she was always so interested in what I was up to whether I was in first grade or my first job. As a child I was convinced she was a fairy Godmother because she was so beautiful and kind. She had a grace and beauty that I've never seen in anyone else and I feel so lucky to have had her in my life. I'm thinking of all of the Samuelsons this Thanksgiving and sending you my love.

Lorraine always had a positive attitude, bright smile and personal warmth. She and Art raised a great family and contributed to Seattle's culture. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and loved telling stories about them. She had many dear life-long friends and was especially blessed to have Joe's kindness and loyalty at Mirabella over the past few years. A life well-lived and a legacy to be lovingly remembered.
