My sincere condolences to my cousins, Deb, Linda, Karen, Judy & Tracy, my heart goes out to all of you, I know the heartache of losing a Mom, Remember the fond memories as they never go away, her infectious laugh will be with you forever, I still remember as a little girl living in the same house, & when your dad came on the scene, I remember to this day, the day the were married, I was there at the wedding, Lady made me a special outfit for the wedding, right after she made your Mom’s wedding dress. Happy, happy memories/. I thank God for your Mom & my Aunt for her strength, courage, joy & love that she gave to every person she came in contact with. Love you Aunt Lou & miss you with all my heart, by the way, My Aunt Lorraine’s nickname “Lou” came about because we lived under the same roof & I was her namesake & when a Gentleman called her on the phone asking for Lorraine, I took the call more often than not, Aunt Lou was not amused understandably, hence her name Lou came into being, & being a teenager at the time I laughed & looking back, again, it seems like yesterday. Happy & cherished memories. My thoughts & prayers go out to all of you & may you have all God’s Blessings. Love Lorraine

Lou was always very welcoming to the many friends of her children that would often show up unannounced at her home. I have many fond memories relating to times years ago around the pool in the backyard. I was always amazed at how tolerant and generous Lou was to all of us even though as teenagers we could be unruly and often made a lot of noise. It was always a pleasure to see Lou. My condolences to all of the family for your great loss.

Dear Debbie, Linda, Judy Karen and Tracey, please accept my deepest condolences. Your Mom was such a lovely, kind, and thoughtful “Lady”. May she enjoy her manhattans again at the Pearly Gate Bar in the sky.

I was so saddened to hear about Lou, or as I always called her, Auntie Lou's passing. Memories of my childhood came flooding back remembering fun times we had at the cottage where we were lucky enough to live during the summers when we were kids, enjoying long sunny days on the beach, and walks into Thornbury. I remember Auntie Lou always welcomed me with a warm smile and her infectious giggle. I loved the house at 2 Fourth Green and when she made macaroni with ground beef for dinner, something that I could not eat enough of. I think back to the wonderful swimming pool in the backyard and how exited I would be when I was part of the family gatherings there. I recall being loaded into a station wagon with all the girls, when I would have been 7 or 8 yrs old, to go to see the movie Bambi. When Bambi's mother died I remember crying uncontrollably and Auntie Lou gently reassuring me that Bambi would be okay. Kind gestures like that stick with someone forever. My thoughts are with all the girls who I know loved her dearly. Rest in peace Auntie Lou.
