My absolutely favorite news commentator...he always told the truth and loved what he did. I looked forward every day to coming home and turning on the TV..so Lou could make sense to me what was happening. He will forever be missed.

"Well I´m an ornery cuss and what I say is exactly what I mean". I will never forget Lou telling me this. But now my dear friend, Lou Dobbs, has "put out to sea" and will be "crossing the bar" to "see his pilot face to face". God´s Speed Lou, we, who are left behind here in port, will miss you greatly.

Lou Dobbs and I had a tremendous personal and business relationship. We worked with each other for approximately four years and we did many projects together but it was not about the work we did together that defined our relationship and friendship but his intelligence, compassion, dynamism, creativity and professionalism. He was by far the most brilliant mind in journalism and certainly one of the most intellectual individuals to ever walk the face of this planet. Aside from working together, he was a tremendous mentor. During the most challenging and darkest of times, he always maintained a nonchalant but yet "alpha" attitude where he would provided an assured confidence to us all. He will be missed. He taught me about fortitude and being a fighter, never quitting or giving up and doing so with a smile on your face. That's a real male mentor and a gentleman!

Also, he was Talk Radio Host, Managing Editor & Form News anchor. He will be truly missed, yet never be forgotten by watch him on TV as we are all mourning the passing of Lou Dobbs.
