Louella Henry Obituary

Visit the Legacy Remembers website to view the full obituary.
Louella Terrell Henry, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and selfless devotion. Born on April 15, 1940, in Alvarado, Texas, Louella lived a life full of purpose and joy, always placing others before herself.

A dedicated homemaker for many years, Louella later worked as the regional office manager for Sammons Communications, retiring at the age of 55. Though her career was meaningful, Louella's heart was always with her family and her faith. She loved Jesus deeply and lived every day in service to Him and those around her.

Louella's sense of humor and joyfulness set her apart-she could always find a reason to laugh, even in difficult moments. Her generous spirit and servant's heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Whether offering a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand, Louella was a constant source of strength and support.

She is survived by her adoring husband of nearly 65 years, Wayne Henry; her daughters Donna Jones and husband Mike, and Diana Smith and husband Michael; grandchildren Brandon Phillips and wife Elizabeth, Stephen George, Jordan Foley and husband Ben, and Jake Jones who had a special place in her heart; great-grandchildren Henry, Louella and Maddie Phillips, and Bowen Foley; her brother Mike Terrell and wife Kim; her niece Aro Umfress and husband Luke and great-nephew Preston; She also leaves behind many extended family, cherished friends and her beloved Maltese, Gracie.

Louella now joins family and friends who have gone before her in the presence of the Lord she loved so deeply. Her life was a testament to faith, family, and unfailing love-and her memory will be forever held in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers and if you would like, donations can be made to Wedgwood Academy in c/o Rachel Wittich, 1317 Concho Drive, Benbrook, Texas 76126.

Celebration of Life service will be Monday, August 11th, at 1 p.m. at Doxology Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Reception to follow service. Burial will be private with family members only.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23

I loved Louella dearly. She was my best friend ever. Not having been with her for years but every time we talked it was as though we had just been together days before. Our families had so many fantastic time together. And we always relived those days every time we talked. Wayne, I love you, too, more than you´ll ever know. She is in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ, therefore I know she is happy.
